Bramhall Methodist Church in Stockport, Manchester is a church based in the heart of a local community. The pastoral team were looking to increase awareness of the support the church can give to the community, and were keen to use the image of the building as part of the design, as, to the local residents the building would be instantly recognisable due to its location in the heart of the village.

The challenge in the design was to incorporate a traditional Methodist Church building into a contemporary design that would appeal to people of all generations; which would be inviting and informative while expressing something of the heritage of the church.

Ascent produced a roller banner and flyer combination. The flyer also had a full-colour reverse side which focussed on the Children's and Young People's groups.

As well as the printed material for the church as a whole, Ascent also produced a flyer which focussed on the Young Church ministry, which meets during the Sunday morning services. This was a much more informal design, but shared key elements with the main flyers, such as the colour scheme and the shaping.
