I'd been doing ad-hoc design work for my day job at Generation 10 for a few years, as well as for friends, family and my church. It struck me one evening that it was becoming something of a passion, which I'd love to expand and share.

The initial idea was to take my enthusiasm and gain some experience by offering a "Free Design Service". This vision is still very much at the heart of Ascent. If you are part of a Church or Non-Profit organisation, and you need marketing materials, I will help you out as much as I can - from design, through to printing and delivery. The only costs we would invoice you for are the costs we have incurred in the project - printing, delivery, webhosting etc.

All that I would ask is that, as a Christian organisation, (or just decent folk) you would consider (prayerfully, if appropriate) donating to Ascent in acknowledgement of the, hopefully, professional service we've provided. If you have a low, or tight, budget and the material costs of the projct are all you can afford, then the design time is Ascent's gift to you. If, however, you do feel able to contribute, any amount would be gratefully received. As a design house, there is always new equipment and software which will enable us to grow and work better for you.

However, large projects, such as complex websites and integrated marketing materials are likely to take a considerable amount of time, and we probably wouldn't be able to undertake these completely free of charge. If you need something like this, please do still contact us - we're more than happy to agree a rate or donation amount which reflects the effort we would put in, while not becoming an undue drain on your budget.

For commercial clients and organisations (whether Christian, or secular), Ascent work on a conventional fixed-price or hourly rate - whichever is most appropriate for your organisation. Please contact us for a quote, and take a look at our portfolio.
